Overview

What Sertraline Is Used For

First-line treatment for depression, generalised anxiety disorder, panic disorder, OCD, PTSD, social anxiety disorder, and premenstrual dysphoric disorder.

Safety Summary

Full antidepressant effect takes 4–6 weeks. Do not stop abruptly. Monitor for increased suicidal ideation especially in early treatment in young adults.
